…can’t think of an appropriate title for this post. I just have so many I can think of. Like these:

I’ll explain in a sec.

We are heading to California for another great weekend at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. I crashed out early last night and didn’t get a chance to back any of our bags so I did that first thing this morning.

With most everything packed and ready to go I wanted to get most of the stuff into the car early this morning. This way when it is 95+ degrees this afternoon I have all the heavy lifting done. This is a picture of Lexi helping Daddy with the bags. While walking from the house I had her ‘help’ me pull the bag along. She was holding it from one side and I was holding it from the other. Then once we got to the car I let her hold it all by herself in order to take this picture. Once I grabbed a picture that I was happy with the little turd wouldn’t let go so I could put it in the car!

So today at school they are doing a special picture day. They are doing classic/vintage style photos. They photographer is providing the clothing and everything else. Just for signing up to have Lexi’s picture taken I will receive a free 5×7. Of course if I like what I see I can always purchase more. Speaking of pictures. The ladies at Lexi’s daycare also mentioned that in the next couple weeks that Lifetouch photography will be back in to do pictures again. I guess they come and do pictures every 6 months. That seems rather frequent but I like it that way. You see one thing they also provide free of charge is child id like card. This of course has her picture and the date it was taken and such. Great if she were to ever be kidnapped I would have a picture of her taken within the past 6 months. I know that I take more pictures of her then that but some of my pictures don’t get a really well lit shot of her face. This card does just that.

For the second part of this post I present this picture. Yes I know that it is just a beautiful picture of the little girl, but look deeper. Not too deep though you might just miss it. Right behind her. What is that? Can it be? Yup it is! Finally got a screen door for the balcony. I knew that I had to take a picture or Grandpa would never believe me. So here it is. Since Sunday the 24th I have been going to the office every other day to ask about getting a screen door. It is starting to get nice here in the evenings and I would love to open my slider without the fear of some insects getting into the house. Well they finally delivered! I came home last night and looked up on the porch and saw it right away. Went to the front door and there was a little note stating that they had been by and entered the house to deliver it. So there ya go Grandpa. We will see you all later tonight.
