I am sure that the subject of this message is going to be lost on some. But you guessed it just finished writing a stack of checks to pay a ton of bills.
So the wife was out and interviewed for a job. Haven’t heard anything about it yet. I still have my fingers crossed. I want nothing more then her to get out here ASAP. Unfortunately this time while she was out we didn’t get to go out and do anything.
See last time she was out, approximately 2 weeks ago, we went downtown to Tony Roma’s at Fremont Street. We had a blast and then went over to the Bellagio to see the art gallery. The art gallery is hosting a special showcase of Ansel Adams art. It was way cool to get the chance to go over and check out all the great art work. Then once we went through the entire gallery we went out front and watched a couple of the fountain shows. It was a truly awesome night.
This most recent visit however we didn’t get the chance to do much. It was good though because she got to spend a lot more quality time with little one.
So now we wait to hear anything from this new position that she was trying to get. I personally think that if she doesn’t get this position that the people doing the hiring are just plain out of their minds.
It seems that the banquet went off without a hitch on Thursday. I really wish I had the ability to be there but unfortunately the new job won’t let me take time off for at least 6 months. So I still have a while before I have the ability to take any vacation. It was really nice the be honored even though I wasn’t present. I heard that even the wife got all choked up. =)
Well I would guess that is about it for the time being. Getting late and I think I hear my bed calling my name.
