Wow this post goes right along with my last posting. How time seems to just fly by. I was thinking today that I should post some pictures of our trip to Travel Town in Griffith part in LA. When I took a look at the blog I realized that I still hadn’t posted any pictures of Lexi’s birthday and that has almost been three weeks past!! So here I am going to start today’s activities with her birthday pictures.
Here is a picture of her cake. She loves Elmo!! The cake turned out ok for the most part. One issue was that the filling in between the layers of cake was supposed to be raspberry when they in fact made it with chocolate. This wasn’t to bad of an issue however the wife reported it to the store and they invited her in to take her pick of the case for a replacement. I love it when a store takes some responsibility and makes sure that the customer is taken care of.
Overall the even was a great success. Had the close family come which was really nice!! Let’s see if I can get them all right. We had: Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Nick, Uncle D, Aunt Holly, Melanie, Russ, Frieda and Grandpa T. I don’t think Lexi knew exactly what to do with all those people there. She was very well behaved though. We also had some family friends over but to be perfectly honest I didn’t get any names. I know I am a horrible person.
She received many great gifts from everyone that came. To those of you who came and are reading this thank you for showing up and bringing something for her, I really appreciate all the support you showed for her big day!! I know that she enjoyed it!!
