So it appears that my class is getting together for its 10 year reunion. When I first got notice that it was getting put together I was somewhat excited. As everything kept getting put together I started to realize something. The people that were in charge of putting this whole thing together I had absolutely nothing to do with when I was in high school. When I was in high school my friends were either in the class before me, the class after me or were in my class however they never graduated. I started to wonder why I would even consider going. To go sit in a room of people that I didnt want to have anything to do with before and more then likely dont want to have anything to do with now.
Heck reunions are only to show off how well your life is in comparison to everyone elses right? Sure I could show up and brag that I am living in Las Vegas. Sure I could take Lexi with me and show off how wonderful of a daughter that I have. I could drag the wife along and showcase how smart she is being an attorney and all. Then again all this would be to impress a group of people I could care less about.
So after all of this thinking I have decided that I am not going to be attending my 10 year class reunion. Now for everyone that is reading this by all means dont let my thoughts change your mind about your class reunion. If you have/had a lot of friends in high school that graduated in the same class as you then by all means go. I am sure that it would be a blast.
