For Lexi’s 5th birthday we did BounceU again. For those of you unfamiliar with BounceU it is a place that houses several different inflatable jumpers for kids of all ages. They have slides, houses, obstacle courses, and all sorts of different things. BounceU, or some variant, has been our de facto birthday spot for years.
This year was different in that my sister, her husband, and her kiddos all had the chance to come out and join us. This made things especially fun for Lexi. She doesn’t get to spend much time with her cousins, however it seems whenever they get a chance to get together they always have such a fun time and this time was no exception.
Here is a pic of Lisa’s youngest Alysha at the party enjoying herself a big piece of cake.
This is a pic of Lexi showing off her new scarf she received as a gift for her birthday.
Near Halloween pumpkin patches and various fairs start to show up in and around town. One just happened to open up before Lisa and her family had arrived the weekend of Lexi’s party. So the night after the party we took everyone out to one of the little carnivals that was setup in the parking lot of Galleria Mall in Henderson. They had plenty of rides for both young and old allowing all the kids to have a good fun time.
Here we have, from left to right, Dionna, Lexi, and JJ all at the bottom of one of those carnival slides.
I’ll finish this post up with a pic of Lexi riding one of the horses they had for the kids to ride. She is in seventh heaven when she gets a chance to ride a pony!
