Silver Springs Park in Henderson is the park that I had been taking Lexi to while it was just Lexi and I. During the many visits I grew quite fond of the area and thought it would be a great place to look into once Dawn moved out and we entered the market for a home.
One afternoon after one of our trips to the park I decided to take a drive through the neighborhoods surrounding the park to see if there were any homes available. While there certainly were many available on the market there was this one particular house that always stood out in my mind, but it didn’t have any signage indicating it was for sale. Dawn contacted a real estate agent friend of a friend from her office, and before I knew it we were pulling up to the front door to take a look inside. After a run through it was quickly decided that this wasn’t the property for us however, it started us on the journey to home ownership in the Vegas valley.
So after what seemed like months we finally found ourselves the proud owners of three year old foreclosure. The day we received the keys we went over for a couple quick shots with Lexi before heading out to Farmington for a family get together.
