Wow it has been a couple weeks since I posted last. I can say though that there hasn’t been much going on in the house. Lately we have been just trying to hunker down for the remainder of the holiday season. It seems that the end of the year is going to get pretty busy with trips between Vegas and LA should be fun.
Last time I was down in LA I was charged with getting a Christmas tree for Lexi. Some of you may already know that I can at times be a Scrooge when it comes to the holidays. I don’t know why but I just am. Of course Dawn’s parents know this and they wanted to make sure that I took the time to get a tree that little one would enjoy. Well I bit the bullet and here is what I got her…
I promise it is in there. Look between her legs and you will see it. I said that I would get a tree and I did. Therefore I have fulfilled all my obligations to the holiday. She seems to really enjoy it. I had to take it out of her hands this morning as she wanted to take it to school with her and well I just couldn’t have that.
So that just about sums up everything for the past couple weeks. I am going to try do a couple things around town that are Christmas themed for her and see what happens. Hopefully they will go off without a hitch.
Now where did I put that mace to keep the carolers at bay??
