On September 6th 1948 my grandma and granddad decided to tie the knot in the little town of Lordsburg, New Mexico. As I alluded to in my last posting we had were on the way out of time when we received the keys to our new place for a family get together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this occasion. We had a great time getting so much of the family together in one place to celebrate their 60th!<\/p>\n

Here is a picture of the happy couple with their anniversary cake.<\/p>\n

This is a group shot of the family get together at the park that is just down the street from their house. It was a beautiful afternoon which lasted most of the day, but turned nasty towards the end of the festivities.<\/p>\n
