After this past week I can truthfully say that quote has some meaning in my life. Here are some of the great family pictures that I was able to capture over this past week with Lexi and the rest of the family.<\/p>\n

This picture was taken in the living room of my Grandparents house. Of course that is both of them there. This is Alice and Frank Gibson. I don’t know how I managed to get this nearly perfect picture but man am I glad that I did. The thing sticking out of the back of Lexi’s head is a walking stick that normally sits behind the chair they are sitting in. In the final version that I printed out I was able to remove it. I just forgot to upload that version here.<\/p>\n

Here is a picture with Grandad. This was taken in the morning in the kitchen. This window faces out to the backyard. She was being adorable that day.<\/p>\n

Ok this is the last of the ‘family’ type pictures that I have to put up. That is my mother and I in the back row and then the Grandparents with Lexi in the front. We took a couple different pictures in this pose. This is the one that I think that turned out best of them all. The others had Lexi in a different dress that is somewhat a family heirloom. My Grandma has pictures of several of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids in it.<\/p>\n

Looking over the past year I must say that at times I have put my family on the back burner to other things that are going on in my life. I know that there were things that I had promised to deliver on and then fail miserably, particularly in regards to my Grandparents. Call this an early New Year’s resolution but I am going to make a conscious effort to make my family a higher priority in my life in the next and following years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
